HealthNet TPO restores health and rebuilds communities. Working in Afghanistan, South-Sudan, Colombia and Burundi; their work is based in challenging locations.

In the areas of wellbeing, healthcare, protection and resilience building they bring improvements to help stabilize conflict riddled regions

In order to improve their communication, Beyond Borders Media assisted HealthNet TPO in several fields of communication: with a new website, with communication messages, with funding proposal writing, with video, animation and photography creation.

This collaboration with HealthNet TPO is a trajectory of many years of working together.

New Website & Communication Messages

HealthNet TPO’s new website is built for content. A modern-day website focussing more on storytelling and visuals. This helps HealthNet TPO to better communicate their work on the ground, which can be challenging as these places can be hard to reach.

Copy on their previous website also needed some punch. That is what we did; writing content in a more readable manner.

With help from our technical partner UncInc, a fully responsive website was built with optimised navigation and presentation. Also, a self-managed content management system was provided to the organisation so that they can do updates by themselves.

Everything that is needed for a modern-day organisation is catered for with this new website.

Corporate Film

Capturing HealthNet TPO’s overarching work is rebuilding societies that have been hit by war or conflict.

Beyond Borders Media created an animation video to showcase their work and challenges they face on a daily basis to execute their work.

Mental health plays a big role in HealthNet TPO’s work; if people are mentally stable, they can handle a crisis better. Hence, rebuilding mental health in a society is a large focus of their work. Showcasing this challenge, followed by an explanation of their activities, is what this video aims to do to a large audience.

Video and Photography in Afghanistan

In Jalalabad in east-Afghanistan, HealthNet TPO has projects related to maternal healthcare; a hospital and maternity school.

What is unique is that women are trained to become midwives to work in rural areas of the country. This directly reduced mortality rates for women and children during birth.

Beyond Borders Media visited the educational facility where women are educated to become a midwife and their hospital.

A short video was made about their efforts, as well as photography, which is used for various communication outings.
